My website is almost finished! Here’s a sneak preview…I’m craving feedback so please let me know what you think, if you have a hot sec :) Any advice at all will help.
For my final project in Designing Interactivity (and final project at Newhouse!), I’m creating a portfolio website from scratch. Lots of planning and coding left to do, but here’s what I have so far. It’s a whole lot of nothing right now, but I’ll post the finished project this time next week when it’s due.
Hey there. My website is finally up with freshly coded design, thanks to some spiffy HTML/CSS I learned in Stephen Masiclat’s class today. Check it out, poke around.
I made it with Cargo Collective, by far the most elegant user interface I’ve seen of the publishing platforms. Good and ritzy for a student portfolio.
Boycott GoDaddy until they make better commercials.
| Student: | But will that break the code? |
| Passetti: | No, but it’ll break my eyes. And my heart. |

Today I created my first set of Web pages in class. I felt like Lisbeth Salander. The guy in front of me said, “I feel like I learned more today than in all my years of college.” Not sure if I agree, but it was definitely one of those classes where everyone was on the same wavelength, everyone was getting it, everyone felt like a total boss.
